Chelsea Rah Bandicoot, CDX, TD, CGC, Canadian CD, ASCA CD. Chelsea was the first German Shepherd that Karen raised from a pup. She''d also had a GSD when she was a teen, and she'd rescued one from an animal shelter after college. Chelsea practically forced Karen into dog training, as she wanted a job (badly!), so that Karen searched for something that they could do together that would use some of Chelsea's energy. Karen trained and titled Chelsea while living in Alaska.

Wynthea's Freja vom Gerhart TD, CD, JH, Bh, AD, TC, Biehund. Karen bought Freja hoping to get more seriously involved in dog sports. Freja had a very willing spirit, and would attempt anything that was asked. Unfortunately, she also had various health problems, including environmental allergies, that eventually forced her early retirement.

V Alyssa vom Olympus SchH1, KKL1 (OFA good). Aly was in many ways an ideal dog. She was a very willing companion with excellent health and a strong work ethic. Together Karen and Aly mastered the three parts of a Schutzhund trial -- tracking, obedience, and protection -- to earn a SchH 1. We had hoped to breed Aly, but got busy building a house and doing other things. Aly developed a sudden case of hind-limb paralysis in 2007 and had to be put down.

Carmine vom Olympus Bh, AD, TD. Carmine is a beautiful dog, who very much enjoys being with people. She's certain that she's a princess, and is a wonderful ambassador for the breed. Currently she lives with Karen's brother.

Genesis vom Olympus Bh, AD. Genna is the daughter of German Sieger Ursus vom Batu. She's a strong-minded, energetic dog and unfortunately has DJD in one elbow.

Evan and Arwyn

Arwyn is the daughter of Carmine and Zeek vom Olympus Sch3. She wishes that Karen would get back to work training dogs, as she's bored. She's a bright, active, friendly girl with good drive. This is a puppy shot of her with Rodney's son, Evan.

Bounce is a McNab border collie that showed up on our property several years ago. We didn't need another dog, but all the girl dogs like him and he's a good sheepdog (when he gets to work, which isn't often). So he has stayed.
